This, compounded with its shiny black color, makes it blend seamlessly with the décors and motifs of most living rooms, entertainment rooms, dens, or any room where a TV might be.
Beneath the cabinet top is an open shelf that runs its whole width where you can install your Blue-ray disc player, PlayStation, Nintendo Wii, amplifier, or additional speakers. A recessed between the cabinet top and the open shelf adds character to the TV center.
Apart from the open shelf, there are also two drawers below it on both ends of the cabinet. They are spaced apart from each other leaving an additional open space in between them. They are pulled open with silvertone handles that stand out beautifully against the black of the drawers. Your Blu-ray disc collection, remote controls, 3D active glasses, and other related items can be safely kept in them.
Constructed out of medium density fiberboard or MDF, the 84026BLK-01-KD-U TV stand has a smooth and uniform surface. It is also resistant to warping as its reaction to moisture is mild, even in conditions of high humidity. Wrapping the MDF are rubberwood veneers.
The Linon Sutton 84026BLK-01-KD-U TV Center sports the same finish and materials as other Sutton furniture, such as the Sutton coffee table, end table, and media tower, and thus integrates well with them. You can put the coffee table in between your couch and TV not just for your coffee but also your popcorn, soda, or beer as you enjoy watching Blu-ray discs or TV broadcasts; or the media tower beside the TV center for your books, figurines, or plants.
The cabinet is 54 inches wide, 16 deep, and 20 high. With this size, it has enough room even for the largest flat panel TVs. It can carry a load of up to 200 lbs.
