Offering three ways to install your home theater system, the versatile OmniMount Verona 37FP B TV Stand is a fine solution to different TV mounting or installation needs.
The stand consists of three glass shelves including its top, which are supported by a sturdy and solid post at the middle of their rear sections and two posts at their front corners.
The front of the glass shelves are curved outward in a convex, while their sides taper towards the rear. The sides are fully covered but the back end is open.
The tapering shelves allow a corner installation of the OmniMount stand, which is ideal for rooms that are challenged for space. It can, of course, also be installed against a flat wall. Because the rear section of the stand is open, air is free to circulate around the components of your home entertainment system to keep them cool while watching TV or playing interactive games. This also makes it easier to manage the wires connecting your audiovisual devices with each other.
One way to use the stand is not to include the TV mounting brackets. You can perch the TV on the top shelf like any ordinary cabinet stand. You still have two more shelves for your Blu-ray disc player, game console, and TV cable box.
A second method is to incorporate the mounting brackets by extending the post at the back of the shelves upward and fastening such brackets to it. When using this option, you can pan the mounted TV up to 30° left and right giving you the flexibility to sit in your favorite couch and still face the TV squarely.
Finally, you can also mount the TV on the wall above the stand. The advantage of this is that you have more freedom to choose the height at which the TV is installed.
Both the second and last methods have the advantage of freeing the top shelf for more items. You can perhaps add extra speakers to boost the TV's audio, or just put your DVD collection on one of the shelves.
The mount can accommodate TV sets with screen sizes of up to 37 inches. As for its dimensions, it stands 53 inches with the mounting brackets included. It is 29 inches wide and 19.5 deep.
