Crafted from a combination of metal and glass, the Peerless SS550P Flat Panel TV Stand is a modern-looking piece of furniture. With its minimalist design, however, it can easily blend into any room regardless of its décor.
The SS550P is an upright stand occupying quite a small area of real estate, making it ideal for installation in small and cramped living or TV viewing rooms. It consists of a solid post standing on a triangular base, both of which are made of heavy-duty metal. The post incorporates an internal cable management system that organizes and conceals all wires connecting your various audiovisual devices.
Attached to the post are two sets of brackets, also made of metal, which support glass shelves. The brackets are adjustable allowing you to move them up or down. The shelves, on the other hand, mirror the triangular shape of the base.
With the triangular configuration of the base and shelves of the Peerless SS550P, it perfectly suited for a corner installation, thus enabling you to save even more on space.
Each of the shelves can carry loads of up to 50 pounds, which means it is sufficiently strong for your Blu-ray disc player, game console, cable TV box, or any other audiovisual device.
The post is topped with a universal flat panel TV mounting bracket that can accommodate mounting hole patterns of up to 17.05 inches high and 28.7 inches wide. Like the supporting bracket of the shelves, the TV bracket is also adjustable. It can be moved either up to down to a level most comfortable for viewing. It can also be tilted at -2°, 0°, and +5° for the perfect viewing angle.
The mounting bracket is designed for flat panel TVs with screen sizes ranging from 32 to 65 inches. Weight capacity is 150 pounds.
All metal components are coated with a fused epoxy finish giving it a high gloss appearance. It is also resistant to scratches and stains, as well as easy to clean. The finish can either be black or silver.
Overall dimensions of the Peerless SS550P Flat Panel TV Stand are 61 inches high, 40 wide, and 25.5 deep.
