Premier Mounts PSD-TTS Universal Tabletop Stand

Flat panel television sets normally come with a base but there are certain models that do not. These are usually the professional types designed to be mounted on walls.

With the Premier Mounts PDS-TTS Universal Tabletop Stand, however, you can opt to have these professional types standing on top of a table or counter. This is a universal stand that can work with virtually any TV with a screen size ranging from 32 – 50 inches. It has a flat base measuring 30" W x 13" D x 1" H. With these dimensions, you are assured that it can support the weight of the bigger and taller TVs.

There are three variations of the base. One is the black version which is referred to as the PDS-TTS/B. Another is silver, the PDS-TTS. And the last is clear, the PDS-TTS/C. The first two are made of MDF while the last is of acrylic.

Attached to the base through an aluminum block are two tubes. The pair of tubes is positioned at the rear center of the base. Each is spaced apart from the other by about 8 inches. A hole is punched into one of the tubes where the power cord and other wiring pass thus keeping the rear of the TV free from a messy and ugly octopus of cords. The tubes are concealed by a steel housing.

Two horizontal brackets which incorporate two rings each are inserted into the tubes at a distance from each other. These, in turn, are link to two vertical brackets by the company's trademarked Griplate System providing a highly secure attachment. It is these two vertical brackets that are fastened to the TV. The horizontal ringed brackets can be slid up and down the tubes enabling the adjustment of the TV's height.

The tubes and the brackets are all made of cold rolled steel. These are strong and sturdy metals so you need not worry that your TV might topple over. As additional security, the base can be bolted to the table.
