A corner location is a fine place to install your HDTV set because it saves on space. Designed as a hexagon with two of its parallel sides elongated, the credenza or TV stand can be pushed quite close into a corner. Below the elongated side is a large open cavity that is vertically divided into two equal sides. Each of these has two shelves, one that is adjustable while the other is fixed, where your Blu-ray disc player, game console, and other audiovisual equipment can be installed. There are grommet holes at the back of the stand for the wires connecting your equipment with the HDTV set.
Further below is a pair of drawers sitting alongside each other. These run on metal runners for ease of opening or closing. To prevent you from pulling out the drawers entirely, a patented T-lock assembly system is incorporated with the drawers.
The base of the Sauder Harbor View TV stand provides a toe-kick so you can comfortably get close to your TV and other devices to fine-tune them. The toe-kick is more than functional, however. Measuring approximately 61 inches from the farthest tips of the hexagon, the stand can accommodate flat panel TVs with screen sizes of up to 52 inches. Made of engineered wood, it can carry the weight of such large TV sets. It has a depth of a shade over 19 inches and height of 27 inches.
