Designed with versatility in mind, the Winsome Wood 93231 Bolton TV Stand can be installed either in a corner or against any flat wall. It is also of a simple modern design consisting of a layer of three open shelves making it suitable for use in most rooms.
The shelves of the Bolton TV stand are made of sturdy composite wood finished in sleek black, but with clearly visible wood grains adding character to them. The rear corners of the shelves are cut at an angle allowing you to set the TV stand in a corner of your room. Such angle, however, is not so sharp as to preclude installation against flat walls. Also, it has the effect of softening the visual impact of the shelves.
The front ends of the shelves are propped by sturdy tubular metal supports. These are firmly secured to the shelves which results to a very steady and stable stand even when laden with the weight of a flat panel TV set and the other components of your home theater system. Powder coated with an aluminum finish, the metal tubes are not only protected from rust and corrosion, but they also provide an attractive contrast to the black shelves.
Supporting the rear end of the shelves is a pair of wood posts, which is also finished in the same black as the shelves themselves. Apart from holding the shelves up, they also incorporate a cable management system to organize and conceal the wires connecting the various audiovisual devices of your entertainment system.

The two bottom shelves can house your Blu-ray disc player, cable box, game console, extra speakers, as well as your DVD collection, 3D active shutter glasses, and remote controls. Since they are open shelves allowing the free circulation of air, you need not worry about overheating your equipment.
